It's hard to put into words everything that has happened this month. I have found it a pretty emotional month- not necessarily in a bad way. Watching the kids grow up and seeing life go by so quickly can be difficult at times. My favorite thing this month has been watching the kids interact more and more each day. It usually leads to more fights but also more laughs and hugs and kisses.
Uncle Rueben Algood passed away a few weeks ago. He was truly a wonderful son, brother, uncle, father, story teller, service man, Christian...the list goes on. He will be missed. Below are a few pictures from the funeral.

We have been spending a lot of time outdoors. We've been playing (kicking balls, riding bikes), attending festivals, raking, mowing, and sitting by the fire.

Daddy made a trip to Sweden, which is probably more difficult on Mommy than anyone else, but he does really important work, so we know its for the greater good. We do goofy things when Daddy's away sometimes (see AJ's hat below). But, we also try enjoy our gracious friends' invitations going over for dinner or stopping by to say Hello. We spent one evening at Samantha's godparents and one afternoon Andrew's godmother stopped by to bring him an Advent gift.

There is a new playground at church. Above you see AJ's big friend "Jarwid" watching out for him while Father blesses the playground.

Hugs always seem to end up around the neck!

Samantha took the above picture! She's getting better.
We have been busy getting into Advent and enjoying time with our Jesse Tree and Advent Calendar readings. Below are a few pictures from the tea party that is held at church each year in remembrance of the Presentation of the Theotokos. The girls had a wonderful time!
