Pictures worth thousands of words

I thought I had posted this before we left for Thanksgiving. My apologies. Check back later this week for Holiday photos. And Happy Thanksgiving! (a few days late).

Loving it

Samantha is actually wearing the dress Anna wore to our wedding 5 years ago.

Andrew crawling and climbing under the end table. David calls it his 'cave'. (Oh, and this was his 'sick day' this week. He was obviously feeling better.

Dancing with Daddy is both of these kiddos favorite pasttimes.

I hope you enjoy our new pictures. David gave me a new toy (my present for our anniversary, Christmas and probably my birthday :))...new digital camera. I don't know how much better the picture will look right away as I learn to use it. But its really, really nice!

Even though this is one of our busiest times of year. We are trying to take it all in and enjoy it. Since the Fall festival in downtown Franklin, we have had the St. Raphael festival at church. We had some guests over for dinner and to watch football (well, at least I got to watch the game with our guest while David was in the ER with his sliced open hand- stitches over and done with now). Mommy was able to attend a wonderful retreat. Fr. Stephen Freeman was a fantastic speaker- a gift from God. (His blog has had almost 1 million hits including one from Vatican City-- http://fatherstephen.wordpress.com/).

David and I celebrated our 5th anniversary this past weekend. We had a quiet late night - fire side dinner after we put the kids to bed. Hard to believe its been 5 years, 2 kids, 3 residences, and a couple degrees and then promotions. Glory be to God!

We are preparing for Advent (which begins Saturday). We are excited about Thanksgiving too!
