Wedding Bells!

Congratulations to Laura and Oliver! They married last saturday in Jackson, MS at St. Peter's Orthodox Church. May God grant them many, many years.

It was a beautiful ceremony with amazing weather! There were literally bells ringing from the church's new bell tower. The picture above is the couple heading to the beach for their honeymoon...they wanted to be there by sunset after a late morning wedding.

Oliver and Laura were so happy and relaxed. Laura looked fabulous. Ellie looked so cute in her dress. The flowers were perfect (Charlotte put them together!). The cake was pretty and yummy! The food was wonderful...need I go on?

John and his girlfriend were in from Austin. Samantha had a blast playing with Mindy and Michael's kids. Oh, and we were lucky enough to stay the night at the William's new house on the way down- gorgeous! We also enjoyed seeing Lottie, Aunt Sally, Uncle Tonie and Sharon and so many other friends. We stayed with Daniel and Elizabeth (see the Food Roots blog on the left). I think Andrew probably woke them up quite a few times over the weekend - he got a cold and HATES his pack in play. But, Samantha and Andrew were facinated with their dog, Barley. Barley was SO good with them.

Happy 3rd Birthday

Pumpkin Patch Tradition....Samantha at 1, 2 and now 3! Look at her grow!
Andrew checking out his first pumpkin. (He didn't want to stand up on the mulch at the "how tall this fall" scarecrow.) This picture was taken on his 9 month birthday! The next day he came down with a fever - yuck. But he is doing better now. He is 18lbs 10 oz. and 27 inches tall. Basically 25%. He crawls in two speeds. One for general 'I am looking for something to get into' and one for when he sees mommy- 'I want mommy, WARP speed'.

We also made a stop at the zoo last weekend for a few hours. Taking advantage of our membership. This trip Samantha's favorite animal was the zebra even though they were far away. I think AJ enjoyed the Meerkats and his wagon ride.

Thank you, Grandma for coming to see us for Samantha's birthday. We loved having you here (as always). Your visit seemed too short (as always). We look forward to seeing you at Thanksgiving!

Here are some pictures from Samantha's birthday. I think she was a little confused about when her birthday actually was because she was able to celebrate for 3 days... party, presents and today at daycare. This top picture shows her with two dimples...I don't know that we have ever caught a grin this big on camera before! Gotta love her!

Showing off her presents!

Hugs with her friend Alexandra. Aren't they cute!

Excitement opening a new toy.

Enjoying her 'ice cream'.
